Ve studii jsou předloženy výsledky multidisciplinárních analýz nálezů z pěti velkých hrobů bylanské kultury, zachycených při výzkumu v trase obchvatu Kolína. Kromě keramických a kovových milodarů byla pozornost věnována antropologickým a archeozoologickým nálezům a reziduím organických materiálů na kovových předmětech. Sledovány byly také konstrukční vlastnosti hrobových jam, struktura inventáře a prostorové vazby. Závěry doplňují poznatky o pohřbívání ve východostředočeské oblasti bylanské kultury a s ohledem na výsledky výzkumu několika sídlištních komponent v blízkém okolí podstatně rozšiřují informace o centrální aglomeraci na křižovatce důležitých komunikačních linií. Součástí aglomerace byl dvorec, několik sídlišť a minimálně čtyři nekropole, z toho tři s doklady pohřbívání elitních jedinců.

The study presents the results of multidisciplinary analyses of finds from five large Bylany culture graves uncovered during an exca¬vation along the route of the Kolín bypass road. In addition to pottery and metal grave goods, attention was devoted to anthropological and archaeozoological finds and residues of organic materials on metal artefacts. The structural qualities of the grave pits themselves, the composition of their inventory, and spatial relationships were also studied. The conclusions complement knowledge of burials in the east-central Bohemian territory of the Bylany culture and, with respect to the results of the excavation of several settlement components in the surrounding area, substantially expand information on central agglomeration at the crossroad of important travel routes. The agglomeration included a farmstead, several settlements, and at least four cemeteries, three with evidence of burials of elite individuals.
